Forbes Shire Council promotes the responsible ownership of pets and companion animals as they are an essential part of our community, culture and society.
We encourage all pet owners to care for their animals in a socially responsible manner with the welfare of their pet in mind. Owning a pet is a privilege, and with that comes a range of responsibilities towards the animals, the community and the environment.
