Council Meetings

Ordinary Meetings of Council are held in the Council Chambers on the 3rd Thursday of each month, except for January, commencing at 1.00 pm.

Addressing Council

All Council meetings are open to the press and the public. Some matters may be considered confidential in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 and therefore are considered by Council in a closed session.

At a Council Meeting members of the public may only address Council during the Public Forum section at the start of each Ordinary Meeting. Application to address the Public Forum must be made before 10.00am on the day of the relevant meeting. The application form is available here.
