Homemakers Centre Stage 2

Homemakers Centre Stage 2 is on track

The Homemakers Stage two development is progressing very well and ahead of schedule. The capital spend on this project is significant with $5.4 million dollars invested into the site. The tenants, Caltex are now at the final stages of the development. The site will feature a 24/7 service station operating which will also include a convenience store, a fast food restaurant, Kentucky Fried Chicken and fuel service centre.
“Councillors are so excited to see this site developed as we have been talking about it for quite some time,” says Mayor Phyllis Miller. “This is a very positive step, residents have been asking Council to facilitate this major site. We want to drive economic development in our town”
Forbes Shire Council has made the supplementary votes at the Council meeting in November to incur the additional spend as it invested in extensive underground electrical work, RMS requirements and drainage design.
