Presentation of Financial Statements

In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), Forbes Shire Council advises that the ordinary Council meeting to be held on 17 November 2022 will include the presentation of the audited Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Reports for the year ending 30 June 2022. The Annual Financial Statements, as well as a summary are provided in the download section of this item.

Any person may, in accordance with Section 420 of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), make submissions to the General Manager, PO Box 333 (2 Court Street) Forbes, NSW 2871 until 5:00pm on Thursday 24 November 2022.

Floodplain Risk Study & Survey

Council is requesting information, anecdotes, stories and images from past flood, as well as the completion of the Forbes Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan Survey

The study aims to build community resilience towards flooding through informing better planning of development, emergency management and community awareness.

This survey has been extended until 5pm, 11 November 2022.

Draft Forbes Housing Strategy Forbes Housing Strategy

Council wishes to advise that the Draft Forbes Housing Strategy 2021-2041 has been placed on public exhibition for a period of 28 days between 26 October - 20 December 2022. All submissions should be addressed to the General Manager and emailed to forbes@forbes.nsw.gov.au, posted to PO Box 333 FORBES NSW 2871 or delivered to Councils Administration Office.
