Proposed Amendments: 2025/26 Schedule of Fees and Charges |
In accordance with s 610F of the Local Government Act 1993, Council places on public exhibition proposed amendments to its 2025/26 Schedule of Fees and Charges. The proposed amendments include: the release of 2025/26 Companion Animals Fees (Companion Animals Regulation 2018), proposed new fees for use of the Multi-purpose Equestrian Centre and Indoor Swimming Pool, and general housekeeping amendments including the rounding of figures, deletion of redundant headers, removal of duplicated fees, clarification of fee descriptions and headings and changes to fee locations in the document for clarity. All submissions must be received in writing by Council, addressed to the General Manager, by 5:00pm on 19 August 2025 - email to forbes@forbes.nsw.gov.au, post to PO Box 333 Forbes NSW 2871 or delivered to Council's Administration Office at 2 Court Street, Forbes. In accordance with cl. 204(3) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021, Council places on public exhibition a proposed Voluntary Planning Agreement between Forbes Shire Council and Edify Energy for a $500,000 contribution from Edify Energy to Council towards projects identified in the Forbes Energy Action Plan.
