Reymond Street Forestry Land Planning Proposal |
Proposal |
Council wishes to advise that it has placed on public exhibition a Planning Proposal (“rezoning”) for Lot 1618 DP 750158; 59-71 Reymond Street, Forbes. Council is proposing to rezone the land from RU3 Forestry to RE1 Public Recreation, and part R1 General Residential.
The Planning Proposal is available on Councils website or at Councils Offices at 2 Court Street, Forbes NSW 2871. The proposal will be on public exhibition for a period of 28 days between 4 October 2023 – 1 November 2023. To make a submission email forbes@forbes.nsw.gov.au or post to Forbes Shire Council, PO Box 333, Forbes NSW 2871. All submissions must be addressed to the General Manager and received by 5pm, Wednesday 1 November 2023. Due to vacancies in Council’s Section 355 Heritage Advisory Committee and Tree Committee, Council is seeking nominations for:
- 1 x Community Member Representative position on its Heritage Advisory Committee and
- 1 x Tree Expert position on its Tree Committee

Council wishes to advise that it has placed on public exhibition a proposal to bring the area known as “Lower Bathurst Street” into the Local Environmental Plan 2013 in line with the remainder of Forbes Shire Council. This is known as a Planning Proposal.
The proposal is on public exhibition for a period of 28 days from 31 August 2023 - 28 September 2023. Should you wish to make a submission, it must be made in writing, addressed to the General Manager, and emailed to forbes@forbes.nsw.gov.au prior to the conclusion of the public exhibition period. Alternatively, you may post the letter to PO Box 333 Forbes NSW 2871 or deliver it to Forbes Administration Office at 2 Court Street, Forbes NSW.
