Pitt Stop Park

This project involved the upgrade of the CBD Northern Entrance at the corner of Lachlan Street and Rankin Street. The site had previously been home to the Pitt Stop Café and incorporates a split road out the front with crossing median in the middle. This project converted the open space to a small nature area with an amenities block. 

This project was funded by Building Better Regions Program  - $350,000 and LRCI3 $924,540

Council is currently working on design plans to incorporate a children’s playground into the area and will be seeking grant funding to complete this project.

• 2025 - Playground designs presented to Councilors – preparing for future funding opportunities
