Forbes Shire Mayor, Phyllis Miller OAM is excited to announce the release of six additional lots at the Goldridge Estate Ballot Night scheduled for 30 September 2021.
"We are thrilled to release more land than previously planned at our Ballot Night this week," says Mayor Miller. "The community really want their chance at this prime residential real estate, which is wonderful news!"
The Goldridge Estate is being launched via a Ballot system for the launch into the local market. Council has chosen a Land Release Ballot process in the initial release of the estate to establish a consistent, fair, transparent and competitive process for all land sales. A Land Release Ballot is a process by which land is sold via lottery draw of unique numbers assigned to members of the public who register a ballot application form within the registration period. All sales will be facilitated by participating local real estate agents; Century 21, Elders, Michael Robinson Real Estate and Ray White.
"On offer are thirteen lots, previously we had seven, at the introductory rate of $149,000 for Phase 1 lots and $164,000 for Phase 2 lots, which is a great deal," continues Mayor Miller. "The following day the lots increase in price to meet market value and it is expected to increase by at least 10%.
"This means the first draw in the ballot now has the chance to pick any lot from either Phase 1 or Phase 2. The Phase 2 lots are slightly larger blocks of 1160 square metres.
"Communities with a lifestyle focus have been the subject of increasing demand recently and Goldridge Estate will offer this in spades! The desirable balance of larger land lots, plenty of outdoor amenity including bike and walking trails, and natural beauty in the form of a rural aspect.
"The enquiries have been broad, report the agents," continues Mayor Miller. "Different people at different stages of their lives are interested, which will ensure the diverse mix of community we envisaged comes to fruition.
"Looking ahead this Estate will have so much to offer with wide leafy streets, green spaces and all the amenities close to hand, all within a two minute drive to the CBD, we are so lucky!
"These lots are in an ideal location for families to build their own home with stunning rural views. They offer a serene lifestyle, suiting people who want to immerse themselves in nature and take advantage of the community’s enviable scenery. Each lot will have electricity, water, gas and NBN connected to each lot.”
The Estates 221 lots will be released in nine stages and Council see the Estate completion being 2032. The Estate has opportunity for retail real estate and features significant open spaces within to create a micro-community of its own whilst being very close town.
