“We are pleased to open again to the public,” says Forbes Shire Council Mayor, Phyllis Miller OAM. “We are however restricted in how many are allowed in the foyer and ask that everyone remain patient and wait their turn.”
Entry to the foyer is available through the electric sliding doors in Harold Street. Everyone is asked to wait outside until space is available. Those leaving the foyer will let the next customer know it is their turn.
“If all you need to do is drop your paperwork and run we have a secure dropbox situated just inside the foyer area. We ask you only visit the Council offices to make a payment and phone us if you simply have questions you need answered,” says Mayor Miller. “The preferred method of payment is EFTPOS however we do accept cash and card payments.
“The staff are working in various locations and unable to meet with the public in person at this time. By all means call the Council and they will put you through to the relevant person.
“Staff continue to conduct a strict cleaning regime in the foyer area to ensure the safety of everyone, fellow staff and the community. We would appreciate you use the hand sanitiser available to ensure those germs are kept at bay.”
