Grant Clifton

Grant was born in Condobolin and grew up in Tullamore on the farming family. Grant went to school at Red Bend Catholic College as a boarder. Two of his sons were also educated there. Most of Grant's life has been dedicated to farming and associated businesses. When the farm was sold Grant moved to Sydney for a few years. It was in Sydney that Grant gained insight into and knowledge of the hospitality industry. When Grant moved back to Forbes in 2002, he purchased the Vandenberg Hotel. Grant is chairman of the Combined Forbes Liquor Accord and Vice Chair of the Lachlan Sub Branch of the Australian Hotels Association.

Grant is a proud member of the Forbes community and his aim is to listen and to represent the whole community to make sure Forbes continues to grow, move forward and prosper well into the future. 

Grant was elected to Council in 2015.
