International Day of People with Disability - Pool Party
International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD) is a universally recognised day of acceptance, understanding and awareness.
Forbes Shire Council invites the community to attend the Forbes International Day of People with Disability. This event is scheduled for Friday 3 March 2023 from 10am-2pm at the Forbes Olympic Pool.
This event is proudly funded by the NSW Government under the Reconnection Regional NSW Community Events Program and aims to celebrate the achievements and contribution of people with disabilities in our community. Forbes Shire Council is committed to recognising this important day on the calendar and encouraging everyone to get involved in the day. This event will feature pool activities, a free BBQ, participation certificates for all participants, sensory stalls, face painting and music workshops.

International Day of People with Disability - Wreath Workshop
Forbes Shire Council invites the community to attend yet another great event scheduled in celebration of International Day of People with Disability. Forbes Shire Council has partnered with Petal and Co to provide a native wreath workshop for participants.
Venue: Forbes Town Hall, Harold Street
Date: Thursday 23 February 2023
Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm
Registrations are essential and can be completed via the Registration Tab at the following link: https://www.forbes.nsw.gov.au/community/community-services-and-information/families-and-youth-services/youth-programs
Participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
