Comedy Workshop

Develop your own style of stand up comedy, find your voice, and develop your first 5 minute set in a fun and supportive environment.

After 10 years as a professional stand-up comedian and having taught over 500 students in the last 3 years, Anthony Lamond will take you for a peep behind the curtain and share his knowledge on what it takes to become a stand up comedian.

His Comedy Workshop & Graduation Performance is not a competition to find the funniest comedian rather it's about helping and developing each individual becoming more confident and having more self belief and building better resilience.

In this three hour workshop he will cover;

  • The science of laughter and why we laugh.
  • Developing a character for stage.
  • Sourcing material & writing for yourself.
  • Stage craft and microphone technique.
  • Shaping, editing & finalizing your material.
  • Producing your own show & building your own audience.
  • Developing your first 5 min routine for your graduation performance.

Past students who have completed the workshop have commented that they now have;

  • Increased self belief & confidence
  • They have grown from the experience and helped overcome their performance anxiety.
  • Found their own unique voice and was able to express that.
  • Built resilience and had sense of satisfaction of taking their own idea and turning into a funny story.
  • Made new friends and connected with the community.
  • Learned how to present and better influence others.

So register today and come along and discover your inner voice.
