Engineering Services

Forbes Shire Council's Engineering Department is responsible for providing and maintaining:

• sealed and unsealed road networks
• town water supply
• sewer system
• parks, gardens and sporting ovals
• traffic systems
• street-scapes.

They manage the aerodrome and council quaries, and provide a number of services for Forbes Shire residents, including:

• road safety
• flood management
• emergency services
• plans and mapping.

The Department also maintains some 284 km of regional, state and federal road on behalf of the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority.
