FAQs
Why hasn't my garbage been picked up?
There are several reasons why your garbage hasn't been collected. The following examples are:-
- Your bin may be left behind if it is overloaded. If the bin is full and the lid propped open, the garbage may spill onto the road when the bin is picked up.
- If the bin is behind a car, tree, power pole etc., where it can't be reached it may get left behind.
- It may be placed too far from the edge of the road. keep it within 1 meter of the edge of the bitumen or trafficked edge of the road.
- Put out late. Bins that have been put out for collection after the truck has passed will not be emptied.
