Infringement Notices

The Forbes Shire Council Ranger reserves the right to issue penalty notices using the Self Enforcing Infringement Notice Scheme (SEINS). The scheme provides an effective means of regulatory control for councils, goverment agencies and statutory corporations.
Ranger Jurisdiction
The Council Ranger is responsible for the policing of infringements relating to each of the following Laws and Regulations:
- Australian Road Rules
- Companion Animals Act
- Crown Lands
- Environmental Planning and Assessment Act/Regulation
- Food Production
- Impounding Act
- Local Government Act
- Local Government Act - Council Free Carparks
- Noxious Weeds Act/Regulation
- Protection of the Environment Operation Act
- Protection of the Environment Operations (Control of Burning) Regulation
- Protection of the Environment Operations (Noise Control) Regulation
- Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation
- Road Transport (Mass, Loading and Access) Regulation
- Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management)(Road Rules) Regulation
- Roads (General) Act/Regulation
- Roads (General) Regulation - Bridge Offences
- Rural Fires
- Swimming Pool
- Water Managment
Paying an Infringement Notice
Payment may be made:
- BY INTERNET: http://www.infringements.nsw.gov.au (Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa Card accepted)
- BY PHONE: 1300 138 118 (Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa Card accepted)
- BY POST: Attach a cheque or money order (with Infringement number clearly written on the back) together with the payment slip to: Infringement Processing Bureau PO Box 444 PARRAMATTA NSW 2124
