Roads update for October 6
Forbes to Parkes, Newell Hwy* – OPEN
Forbes to Bogan Gate (The Bogan Way) - OPEN
Parkes to Condobolin (Henry Parkes Way) - OPEN
Forbes to West Wyalong, Newell Hwy* – CLOSED to all vehicles – between Forbes and Mid Western Hwy (closed at Marsden). Detour via Parkes, Eugowra, Canowindra, Cowra, Young, Wallendbeen and Temora.

Forbes to Cowra, Lachlan Valley Way* – CLOSED – water at various locations over road. Detour via Parkes, Eugowra, Canowindra.
Forbes to Eugowra, Escort Way* - CLOSED – at Southern Cross. Detour via Parkes.
Forbes to Grenfell, Henry Lawson Way – CLOSED – at Muddy Lagoon. Water over road in several places. Detour via New Grenfell Road.
Forbes to Grenfell, New Grenfell Road – OPEN – there is some water over road and pavement damage, these areas are signposted at 40km/h. Use with extreme caution.
Forbes to Bedgerabong – CLOSED - just after Aerodrome (Bogabigal). Detour Via Parkes, Condobolin, Lachlan Valley Way, Hodges Road (Straney’s Bridge).
Forbes to Condobolin, Lachlan Valley Way (South Condobolin Road) – CLOSED - at Jemalong, 17 and 21 mile. Detour via Parkes or Bogan Gate.
Forbes to Wirrinya – CLOSED – at Dog and Duck
Bareenong Road (UAH Flood Detour from Garema to Newell Highway) CLOSED
Yarrabandai Road – CLOSED - at Corridgery Road intersection

Council reminds residents that it is not only an offence to drive through a road closed sign but also dangerous as the road pavement condition is not known and there could be logs submerged in the water.
Under no circumstances will Council provide permission to drive through roads that are closed.
