Background Jenny was born and raised on a farm at Condobolin. Jenny and her husband Tim moved to Bedgerabong in 1990 where they bought their first property. Their three children all attended Bedgerabong and Forbes schools and are now young adults. Stacey works in oral health, Kelsie is a speech therapist and Tom is in his third year of a building apprenticeship.
Jenny has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Radiography) and a Diploma of Business Management. She worked at Mount Isa Base Hospital from 1984 for six years. She started work at Forbes Hospital as a Radiographer in 1995 and currently manages Forbes and three other Central West Medical Imaging Departments. She also oversees the Accreditation of 30 WNSWLD Medical Imaging Departments.
Jenny's vision for Forbes is to ensure that we have the best health facilities, that all our rural communities and local businesses are looked after and to encourae exisitng and prospective new businesses, in particular more long term employment opportunities so as to ensure Forbes has a vibrant local economy.
Jenny's recreational hobbies are patchwork (reproduction quilts), gardening, tennis and theatre productions. She enjoys morning walks on her property and tries to walk at least three afternoons a week around our wonderful Lake Forbes.
