The Youth and Community Centre (YACC) is open to everyone. It has a large gym sized area equipped with a kitchen, lounge area, computer area with free internet services and a variety of sporting equipment. The YACC is also available for hire for community groups, businesses and individuals. Forbes Shire Council is committed to responding to the needs of young people and has employed a part time Youth and Community Officer. Young people in the Forbes Shire are encouraged to actively participate in developing and conducting their own projects, events and activities with the assistance of the Youth and Community Officer through the Youth Advisory Committee.
